Brian Acton was born in 1972 in Michigan.

   He is one of co-founder of WhatsApp.

 WhatsApp is app for smartphone that provide instant messaging.

ABOUT

•  Brian Acton studied computer science in Stanford University and was graduated in 1994.
•  After graduation, Brian Acton applied for a job at Yahoo Inc. He was hired and became the 44^th employee at Yahoo. 
• While working in Yahoo Inc. Acton had invested in the dot com sector in 2000 and lost millions when the bubble went bust. The tragedy gave him experience of doing business in IT sector.

  

•   In 1998, Acton met Koum  who is also the co-founder of WhatsApp along with Brian Acton. Koum was started working at Yahoo as an infrastructure engineer. 
• Acton and Koum worked together for many years at Yahoo. After that, in 2007 they decided to left their job at Yahoo together.
•  Then , Acton and Koum started travelling across South America. After come back, they applied for a job at Facebook, but both ot them were rejected.    

 *Koum purchased iPhone in 2009 and he realized that the still nascent App Store would be a big commercial success in the future. 

*He then ask Acton and  other friend his new idea to develope a mobile messaging app. *Lastly , Koum decided to name the new application as “WhatsApp”. The company of WhatsApp was incorporated in California as a ‘ WhatsApp Inc.’
