Tan Sri Azman Hashim, Chairman of AmBank Group

STARTING OF THE CARRIER

*He start his career as an entrepreneur with Bank Negara and he works there for 4 years. 

*He resign and decided to start running his own company as he thought that it is his first step of entrepreneurial. (starts his accounting firm which is Azman, Wong, Salleh and Co in 1964. On that time, the people said that the accounting certificate of Australia that ge got is a second class and he took it as a challenge for him to work harder.)

HOW HE CAN BE A SUCCESSFUL PERSON

*When he went into banking, he need to cut his income substantially in order to run Maybank, where he was from 1971 until 1980 as the Executive Manager. 

*Then, he successfully bought Arab-Malaysian Merchant Bank which is named as AmBank today from one of the entrepreneur of Arab, Hussain Najadi. 

( When Tan Sri Azman Hashim bought the company, he also appointed as the Chairman there.)

After the Asian economics crisis in 1997 and 1998

*Tan Sri Azman success in expanded his banking industry when MBF Finance officially cooperate with the branch of AmBank Group Banking which is Arab-Malaysian Finance Berhad.

These showed that Tan Sri Azman Hashim is the open risk taker as he did not scared or think too much on the risk that maybe happened when he do something. All that he knows is he need to grab whatever chances in front of him and do it with passions.
